Shared Docs isn't working between 2 XP computers

I have two XP comps sharing the same router for net connection, but they can't see eachother for file or printer sharing. I just want to enable simple file sharing. They're both on the same workgroup. Neither one sees the other in My Network Places. They can ping each other fine in CMD.

Sorry if this is obvious and you've already tried but do you have ms file and printer sharing enabled for each (as well as the client)?
