I am currently on page 4 of a 30- to 40-page (double-spaced) research paper that's due tomorrow night at 6:30. I'm taking tomorrow off work, so hopefully that'll give me enough time to get it done. It's worth 1/3 of my class grade. The class is the management seminar in our MBA program.

By my standards, you're a hard working fool. I did a 20 page single spaced essay/research paper from 12AM-7-PM for high school. It was suppose to contain 20 scholarly sources, mine all come from the internet...

The paper was so full of BS but I ended up with a high B on it so I'm happy 🙂

I have an exam tomorrow covering 10 chapters, I've read none of them and have been to maybe 1/2 of her classes. I've also done none of the recommended but not required homework. Not looking good for me 🙁

I have a 20 page paper on Six Sigma due a week from now. It takes me longer to write than other people, so I'm having a hard time right now.

I got a CS exam to study for... that's pretty much it. Spent the last month studying chem. Spent last week doing practice exams for calc. All that's left is to blow through the finals and go on summer break! 😀

<-- Quit procrastinating since high school

edit: Oh, and I do have highschool procrastination story however. Had a biology project that was due the next day. You we're supposed to find 10 products with health benefits/warnings. The night before, at around 10, I went to stop and shop and found 10 items. Came back at around 11 and promptly went on aim with to bitch about the project with my other classmates(we always got together the night before a project was due to whine). So after whining for about an hour or two, I finally got started. Didn't finish until around 5AM. The entire project consisted of a 10 page writeup and documentation for each product.

Hell, my entire university time is one big tale of procrastination :

I'm just finishing my last semester, and I think I managed to go to about 10hrs of class during the entire semester. I had about 22hrs a week of lectures, tutorials and practicals scheduled.

I went to about 20% of my college classes, didn't do some projects that weren't worth the time for the % of my grade, and usually just showed up for tests that I studied for the hour or two before.

<-- Quit procrastinating since high school

I've tried to quit procrastinating since high school, but I just don't seem to have much luck with it. One thing that hurt me with this paper is that I had another semester-long project due on Friday along with a 20-minute presentation. If it hadn't been for that, then I would probably be on page 10 right now 🙂

Thankfully I'll be all done on July 5, so I'll have to find some other area in which to procrastinate!

I beat you all -- I have law school exams *worth 100% of my grade* starting tomorrow. Let's just say........... I am WAY WAY WAY behind on my reading.

i have 4 cases that need to be moved off my docket by tomorrow afternoon... and i am currently planning on having people over my place for a little party tonight... when i will get to these 4 cases i have no clue... 🙁

huge presentation and demo of development progress. didn't start any actual work until 8 hours before the meeting. didn't sleep the night before.

pulled it off like a champ, next goal is 4 hours

I have two items due at 8am tomorrow:

1) Programming done for an independant study course - being worked on now
2) An annotated bibliography for another class - have not even really started

This is going to be a looooooooong night.

Not me procrastinating, but the worst I've heard: In a class that had a huge semester long project that should take at least around 100 hours to complete there was one or two people who waited until the last week. They did think they could finish it, but no idea if they really did or even pass the class (doubt it as you needed a minimum project score to pass obviously). It took me and everyone else the whole semester.

Two weeks ago Wednesday. Two term projects due next two days. Just started the first one. Had to pull two all-nighters to get things 'done', then slept till 5pm on Friday after getting home at 10am. If I were hooking myself, I'd be rich now.

Wow where to begin..my entire school career has been based around the theory of procrastination.

20 page paper on tax - started the night before its due while having to make a presentation for the same class

12 page paper on Wes anderson as an Autuer - I had to watch all four of his movies that night, do research on theory and then write the whole paper...that was a good one.

Just about every test Ive ever taken I procrastinated studying

I researched and wrote a 10 page paper in 6 hours the night before it was due once, and got an A.

Single spaced of course. What college level class is asking for a double spaced paper? Oh and in case you need some help, here's the period trick if you get really slammed for time:

holy crap is that useful...

I wouldn't recommend doing that especially if the professor asks for a disc copy...they could get you for cheating...

English Term paper. We had 3 months to work on it. Well, the First 2 months were drafting and all that pre-writing stuff, and the last month was the writing phase. I forgot all about until the last two days. I didn't sleep for 48 hours.

I think MBA-ers are the worst procrastinators

Have a 40 page marketing project due (health club in costa rica) ... I'm on the 2nd line of the executive summary, page 1

wow thats pretty slick. I am sure some hard ass prof somewhere would check but I know not a single one of my profs at school would ever in a million years pick up on it or care.

finals this week - haven't read the books for any of them, haven't studied etc, and I'm borderline A in one class and borderline B in the other two, needless to say I need to do good on the finals to maintain my grades....

oh well - back to sleep and games
