sigur ros - "untitled 1" <--- although jonsi is singing, i consider this to be instrumental because there are no lyrics... they are just musical sounds he is making, like an instrument.

basically, the entire sigur ros "untitled" album is insane. if you have emotions or have experienced crushing pain in the past, this album will touch them. if you don't have emotions, this album will create them and make you feel.

it is incredibly underrated.

Dredg's Leitmotif album has some great instrumental stuff. The whole album is amazing, but if you just want the instrumentals, you can just listen to those. Works better as a whole piece though since it's sort of a concept album, same with their second album El Cielo (skip everything after that one). Both are brilliant.
