OK so I want to get me xbox online but it isn't anywhere near the router but it is near my pc that connects through a pci wifi card. Is is possible to use an existing NIC in my pc to share the connection with the xbox?

I really hope so.

Thanks.

Yes.

Right-click your Wi-Fi connection from Network Connections, chose Propertires, go to the Advanced Tab, checkmark "Share this connection ..." If it presents network interface options, pick your NIC.

Now just run a crossover cable from your computer to the Xbox and it should work.

Thanks a million. I tried you method and it worked great after I figured out that I needed to change it to an ad-hoc network. Its the only way it will work. I'm up an going now, thanks.
