no, I would keep Yao... Shaq is always out of shape or getting injured, Yao still has a long way to go in developing his game...

i agree. shaq may be a better player right now, but yao has tons more potential. shaq's left potential=nil. i dont think him being a better player is enough to justify that difference.

Yao's value is more than anybody in the league in a businesss sense.
First of all he is dirt cheap compared to other superstars, and most importantly, there is a 1.3 billion chinese market to tap. TV broadcasting rights in China, offical merchandises, etc. Also for any U.S. city with a significant population of asians, there is a huge benefit financially in acquiring Yao for obvious reasons.
