I bought one last week at that price (before they jacked it up and went OOS). I got mine, but the lesson is DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I'll say it again. DO NOT BUY FROM PAGE COMPUTERS. Just search around if you're curious why. If you try calling them, they'll put you on hold (dead air, no music) for a LONG time only to be told that "your order is in processing and you'll have to wait." Except that they already charged your credit card. For an item that's probably OOS anyway.

I bought the PCIe and I haven't installed it yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they advertised an AGP just to screw people over.

It is the AGP variant... but I have no idea if its moddable. If everything but the interface is the same, it should be. Very tempting. I have the PCIe version, but I have a AGP PC also that I would love to have this for.

The page works for me. Ground shipping is under $9. I have been trying to contact their live support for 5 minutes now with no response.

I have seen normal GTO's in AGP at other sites.. Maybe this is a mistake.. Maybe it's the real deal :)

Called them and they said it's pci, not agp.

They also couldn't locate the product by product# or manufacturer# but were somehow knew what I was asking about. When they read the product title to confirm what I was asking about, it has pci in the title.

Weird. The PCIe SKU is 100130, this is 100131. 100131 is the SKU for the AGP X800GTO (not GTO^2).

I sent an email from Sapphire asking for confirmation.

Soooo ,, it is AGP but not the GTO^2. The GTO2 is 16 pipes already enabled without a Mod right? The GTO is 12 pipes but "may" be able to be modded correct??

the GTO^2 just needs a BIOS flash. the GTO might not even be based on the R480 chip --- thus only having 12 pipes.

Just got off the phone with EXcaliberPC.com The guy I talked to said this is indeed the GTO2 and it is AGP. He checked some kinda list they have and said it shows up as GTO2 on it as well. He also said they just came out and they are selling like hot cakes. So I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one. I guess we'll see...

My disty shows GTO2... however, we still need a modded bios right?

Will the one that's being used for the PCIe card work on this or screw up the AGP version?

lol people people, you all need to calm down and put your credit cards away. These cards aren't gonna go anywhere... just wait for confirmation that they will/won't be moddable. Why risk this much money without any assurance?

That's what I want to know too. What BIOS do we use if there is one to mod this?

Abolutely. That was sorta my point. Last thing anyone wants is a pretty $200 paperweight because they flashed it with the PCIe bios. Plus, if its not moddable, you just spend $200 on a $200 card. Not hot.

Because the prices might go up like it did with the PCI-E ones.
