Wow, Shapiro did not hold back against Morgan at all. Also I heard that Shapiro stated that after the show that Morgan told him he really wanted a full gun ban in America.

Worst part is that investigation on Sandy Hook is not yet finished. Original reports and even police public reports stated that the handguns were used and not the AR15, and that the AR15 was left in the trunk of the car. Of which there is media video footage of the police recovering an assault "styled" weapon from the trunk of a car at the scene. To many it looks like a Saiga semi auto shotgun and not an AR15. Until the investigation is concluded and an official report released, I'm not going to make the assumption that an AR15 was the only weapon used at Sandy Hook.

And of course he ignores the Cumbria massacre, where the shooter used a double barrel shotgun and a bolt action .22 to kill 12 people and injure 11 more.

its loaded question because the answer is fairly simple. He is entitled to his opinion as much as you are. I dont get the outrage because he said something that ruffled your britches.

Its the same thing as coming into p&n and crying because maher/oreilly/rush/any mouthpiece says and taking offense.

I get so sick of the argument people dont "need" a right. Why does anybody need anything? It turns the argument on those desiring the weapon to prove why they desire it. Imagine if we asked why do you "need" free speech or right to privacy in your own home? The question is designed to stomp out meaningful discussion and put the pro-gun folks immediately on the defensive with no real way out.

No, it's about presentation. Shapiro said he supports the intention of the 2A because how his grandparents died. Morgan in his recent interviews with previous gun right proponents would say things like, "So you thinking American's should have AR15's is supporting the mass murder of children like in Sandy Hook?"

That's just pure asshatery to use the Sandy Hook or even the killing of children and equating something like that to firearm ownership of any sort. Or the support of said ownership. That is what Piers Morgan does in his interviews. Massive troll basically.

But Morgan didn't do the same, that's the point. See this for starters:

He openly used dead children to imply that gun lobbyists "don't get it." and "don't want change." Both of which are absolutely false in most cases.

Shapiro did nothing of the sort. He simply stated an argument and his reasons, which happen to include his grandparents. He didn't use them to pass or imply moral judgement on Morgan.

That said, Shapiro makes a political point by using his dead ancestors...something that turns me off just as much as anything Morgan said.

I don't need any appeal to emotion to understand Mr. Shapiro or his political positions. The minute him or anyone else serves up a platter of fallacious BS I'm skeptical of their logic and reasoning.
