Probably not. Maybe one or two at most, by that time you'll be dead.

I would say you would take out none of them with a bat....you MIGHT be able to injure one with a fully automatic weapon though

One or two? No way in hell. Even if they were unarmed.

Give me a bass boat with a lawn chair, a 6-pack of Schlitz and a 9-iron, and I'll ...uhh...

I'm not sure where that was going.

You'll probably get fracture wrists before you can start your swing.

I highly doubt the practicality of kung fu in actual fighting. However the physical shape of those monks is more then enough to win a fight against most posters on this forum. Now for fighting skill, you can't look at the dancers, you gotta look at the Sanda fighters. That's real Chinese fighting.

Kimbo Slice would rip their heads off.

I know he looks mean, but I'm surprised at the fan fare he receives for fights when said fights are only conducted according to "his" street fighting rules.

And those are:

1.This is not a mixed martial art or a street fight

2.Only punching allowed (no elbows, knees, kicks, etc.)

3.Stand up fighting only

4.No holding or grappling with opponent is allowed

5.If someone is knocked down he has thirty seconds to get up and continue fighting

6.Ways to win are KO, thirty second count out, and if the other guy quits

My...that's some real life dirty street fighting right there! I like how it's only punches, and damnit no holding or grappling. Hehehe.

I'm with sourceninja, to an extent. Each of those wushu students probably has more strength in a single leg than 90% of the posters on this forum have in their entire bodies.
The flashy stuff that sells ain't the real McCoy these days. For those bashing traditional gongfu as not being effective, do us a flavor - go pick a fight with an Eagle Claw or White Eyebrow sifu and let us know how it turns out. ;)

Um... I hope to God you're not under the delusion that these Shaolin monks and their theatrics can actually fight well in real life....

Let me guess, you think Jet Li can beat up UFC fighters too, right?

Yeah....um.....not a chance in hell.

Although ol' Kimbo could kick my ass pretty easily, he doesn't stand a chance against any of the monks.

1. When was the last time you saw these theatric monks in a fight or any fighting competition?

2. If they can fare well, why do you not see any top UFC fighters being monks?

Ugh. Wake up. This isn't hollywood. People don't do fancy flying kicks and victims don't get thrown into the air.

I have my doubts about the monks in a real fight too but you have to realize that neither are UFC fighters the end all be all of street fighting. UFC fighters have to go through a very strict set of rules set forth by fight commisions and is a SPORT. There are no punches to the back of the head, no stomps to the face while on the ground, etc....

So while I may doubt the effectiveness of the Monk's martial prowess, at the same time, using a line like "why aren't there monks in the UFC if they can fight?" is faulty. For example, I'm not sure say Anderson Silva would fare too well in a fight to the death that involved poking eyes out, crotch shots, throat punches, punches to back of the head, etc.....

And while you do see a lot of jumping around and Choreography with the Shaolin Monks, they do also train hard arts such as dragging boulders tied to their balls and hanging themselves from a tree to strengthen those areas which are most vulnerable. Again, how effective their training will be in a real fight, I don't know. But while the UFC is closer to a real fight than choreographed dance, it still plays within a very strict set of rules that separate it from a real fight.

Thats aside from the other point of Kimbo Slice not being a very proven fighter in the MMA world. Beating an over the hill Tank Abbot doesn't say much.
