I personally don't get excited until my returns are in the 5 figure range. I'm already up over $14k the last 6 weeks on a couple energy stocks I purchased in Feb. $5k is not a killing. $50k is a killing though.
I personally don't get excited until my returns are in the 7 figure range.. It's a good day if I make 6 figures and it's a great day if I make 7 figures...
....
Who gives a shit, it all depends on where we are in our lives, some people have more money than others and therefore are able to invest more and then make more. You can't be making millions of dollars when you've only got $20K to invest and you can't be making $50K when you've only got $2100 to invest. Not to mention the fact that you have to be conservative and not be a fool by putting ALL of your money into the market. The guy did well, a 282% return in only a few days, let him be happy, it's a fantastic return.

Anyone know of any decent forums for good trading info? I'm new to the market and can't find anything worthwhile. The Google Finance boards seem like cesspools of shorters giving fake news and regular traders pumping every stock.
Good information is not disseminated on the interwebs, at least I don't think so because the successful traders are all old folk who don't post on message boards..
