The burgers are awesome but I wouldn't call it fine dining.

Ive also been to #20 - Animal in LA. I opted for their more exotic dishes such as rabbit and truffle grits. They were good but I kept looking at the people who ordered the more standard fare which looked way better.

TFL was probably the best meal I've ever had.

No, quite a bit better than In-n-Out or Fatburger. Hardly a top 10 "restaurant", but a very good burger joint.

I'd put it in a different category than In-n-Out. Double Double is about $4 and under. A double at Shake Shack is about $8-10 from what I remember.

Yeah, drink + fries + burger @ SS will be > $10 easy.

InO #1 with every single secret option is like $7.xx

Shake Shack is good but not worthy of that list. I personally don't care for the burgers that much but the shakes are really good.

If I'm in NYC and a want a quick burger without going to a sitdown place I'll go to the Steak n Shake on Broadway between 53rd and 54th. I'm probably biased to it since I grew up with SnS.

Shake shack is really good, but the first time I had it was at Citi field where they also happen to have raw jalapeno available, which makes the burger about 10x better.

I went back to a normal location without the jalapeno and it was still good (<3 crinkly fries) but definitely not the same without the heat.

overrated overall I'd say

That one is definitely on my bucket list.

Alinea is on mine. It's in such an awkward part of the country for me though; if it was on the West Coast I would have eaten there already, but the East Coast/Midwest is a pain in the ass for me. Place will probably be closed by the time I make it to that part of the world. :(

I love both In-n-Out and Shake Shack. But if I had to pick one, In-n-Out would win easily.

In-N-Out > Donovan's > Mastro's > *

I don't even see any of those 3 on the list, epic fail.

The Vegas InO is shit compared to SoCal InO's

I gave the Vegas guys my order and they were o_O

c'mon guys, it's just a #1 animal style x toast both kinds of onions with fries well and an XL lemonade, with another cheeseburger x toast grilled onions. Christ, not that complicated.
