Jerky will last forever kinda like a tweenky. If you are feeling sick it's because the meat was from a cow that had Mad Cow Disease not because the jerky went bad.

Dont you hate when people reply in a thread, and don't both to read the already replies? And say the same thing over and over and over again....

I hate it when I both read the already replies.

sush, you know what I meant. ;)

hehe, yeah. Just trying to kill time on a boring school day ;)

It would be better than being a loser and typing "I need to get to lifer status" as a reply to every post, huh?

I think you'll be alright, you're probably just feeling sick because you THINK there was something wrong with it. Beef jerky is safe to eat for a long time after it expires. It is recommended for bomb shelters and such because it lasts so long.

It's not an eat-by date. My gf tosses out milk when the sell-by date passes. Drives me nuts - if it doesn't smell, it's still good.

I dont know.. my milk always seems to sour the day after the sell by date if not right on the date. Its pretty accurate.

Better hope you don't have roundworm or tapeworm eggs incubating inside your digestive system now... ;)
