I had to be the KEWLest parent on the planet. My daughter was allowed to drink IN THE HOUSE at 15yrs. old. Never had a curfew or bed time.

I had to know where she was at all time, who she was with, and what time she was gonna be home... but if she called, she could come home what ever time she asked for, as long as she was home at that time. Once she hit 17, she could drink at parties but not get drunk. I also supplied her with all the $$$ she ever needed and gave her whatever she asked for.

She ended up graduating HS a year early, with high honors, all AP classes, honor society, who's who, and scored 1500 on her SATS without studying. And she can still wear white... ;)

I did the 3D rule.
I respected her as a person, and allowed her freedom to make her own mistakes BUT... IF she were EVER

Perhaps the mods should abide by your parents decision and ban you for two weeks.

J Crew, Abercormbie, Express.
Stever Madden Coach and Fendi.
mp3 players, personal computer, boombox, 27in tv, dvd player, cell phone
jewelry

and a credit card with a 10,000. limit (and she never uses it). Victoria Secret card, Bloomingdale's card.

Sh*t, her boyfriend can never figure out what to buy her.

But to be honest, she is SMART, intelligent, kind, respectful (to herself, to me and to others) good hearted, funny, and gorgeous.

:)
She deserves everything i have ever given her. And she only got her azz beat twice in her entire life.

Hmm.. not a bad idea..

KarenMarie: Kudos for raising a great daughter, but somehow I think the same treatment would be completely lost on RaiseUp..

You're going to the party with NuclearFusi0n, right?

And driving your BMW 7-Series, too, eh?

i'm sure you're daughter is great.... but damn---- is she going to be able to take care of herself at all once she gets out in the real world?????

I really dont understand how some parents can spoil their kids so much. THen again, i'm not a parent yet.. and when i am, im' sure i'll want to spoil my kid too. I think i'm just bitter i wasnt so spoiled growing up. (and i had it pretty good--- just not that good)

Dude, "grounded" is just a state of mind. Call everyone you know and declare a party at your house. Tell them to tell everyone they know. That'll teach the parents

I'm sure your kid loves the luxury of being able to drink whenever and constantly mooch of you, but I think I'm better off earning my own money and having limits set for me until I'm not dumbass enough to break them. It's spoiled kids like that who just piss me off...they cruise through life thinking they're hot sh!t, but put them a state away from their parents and tell them to get a job and they won't know what the hell to do.
