I bought an Opteron 170.
CCBWE 0609 FPAW

I don't know what I'm doing. Now I sell my 3700+ if all goes well.

What AM I doing?

I hate having excess $$ in my paypal acct.

My friends and I called it Playpal. It's not real money! It's just sitting there electronically, just spend it..

I always transfer it straight to my bank account, so..

Funny thing about that "Playpal"...when I first signed up, my bank denied transfers because they thought it was some online gambling thing. I had to go in and talk to someone. "So this Playpal thing..." "Paypal." "OK, so Playpal is just some sort of money transfer thing? Not for gambling?" "..."

I sold 3 HDs I bought at Fry's for black friday.. you k now those FAR deals =).

Then I sold 10 Disneyland tickets (we went and got the 2fer deal so we sold off the CA Adventure part).. I still have to pay people back for that (cuz I helped sell their tix)

Then I sold my broken K750i for a whopping $202.50 (WTF)

Then I bought a freaking eVGA 7800GT off of someone here. Of course I'm now selling my BFG 7800GT OC. I'm hoping the net difference is something like $5 only.

All is good, but now the Opteron 170... That's a good $170 difference from my 3700+. Whoops.

why not they pay 5% intrest

More like 4.5%, and that's only if you sign up for the money market account. Not bad even compared to HSBC and the like.

Paranoid much? I try not to leave over $50 in my PP account.

<--- Paranoid

Get back to me when you get a bogus complaint and they take your money.

Can't they take your money whether or not you have it sitting in your account, if it's linked to your CC/bank?

No, they will just put a ( - ) balance on your paypal acct and send you to collections.

It wasn't me. I've read it here time and time again.
I leave no money in it. I transfer it to the account when I need to make a payment. When I get a payment, out it goes.

I leave like $20 usually so I can buy small things off ebay if I need.. i.e. Dell coupons =)

Tell me about it.

In the past month I have purchased 12+ coupons on eBay, the 4 packs are usually a good bargain.

Same here. I'm just uber paranoid. And the checking account that mine is linked to is for no other purpose but Paypal. It's a 'buffer' between my real checking account and Paypal. Paranoid enough for you? 🙂

That's exactly what I do. That account is for Paypal only.

That doesn't even scratch the surface of my paranoia but it comes close.
