I guess SyFy is getting ready for SG Universe's premiere a week from Friday by showing a 22 hour SG-1 marathon.

I haven't heard SighFy announce it, but it looks to be a best episodes, or fan faves type event.

Gonna have:
2 part Moebius
Lost City
1969
2010
Urgo
WormHole Extreme
The Nox
etc.

Good chance to catch up so you can adequately rag on Universe when its lame.

Yeah, who would have thought? But Dom Deluise did a good job in it. I guess when they have a guest star that anyone has ever heard of its a fan fave.
btw his sons were in epi's:
David Deluise played Sams almost husband boyfriend.
Another brother played in Wormhole Extreme.

And his other son Peter Deluise directed a staggering 56 epi's.

Trivia: Peter Deluise also appeared in 16 episodes, almost all uncredited as everything from an airman to a guy on the street.

Not to rain on your parade, but SG-1 seasons 1-7 are on Hulu in their entirety. Besides "Children of the Gods". It's edited for obvious reasons.

The Nox episode was from the very first season. In fact it was the 8th episode ever. There were some awful epi's the first season or two.

True Zensal, but I can't view Hulu streaming shows on my HT setup yet! 😱 Although, I do own the "un-edited" MGM version of "Children of the Gods" on DVD 🙂

It was a premium cable show back then and had a scene with boobzors. There's a recent "recut" DVD version too. It' supposedly much better but it, too, lacks the nudity.

Yes, if you buy the full series DVD set, there is full-frontal in Children of the Gods.

Or else just do a Google search for Vaitiare Bandera.
I figure it was probably a ratings-grab thing, as it doesn't really add much to the plot, and it's never brought up again.

Still, I'm not exactly complaining. 😉
