I thought so. Usually, most people that go to the trouble of installing Linux know what they're doing and usually have a specific purpose in mind for the Linux installation. You covered all those little things that everyday people do with their computers -- such as organize digital photos, browse the internet, send/recieve email and some multimedia functions.

I think the writing was easy to understand and down to earth for an everyday person (read: not technologically inclined) to read.

With that said, I definitely applaud you for being such an open-minded person and taking the plunge to at least TRY it out and see what it has to offer.

I have been flamed, to say the least, in osnews.com 😉

I think it can be some fun reading for those actually interested in how noobs handle it... or for moderators who might get an idea as to the level of patience that sometimes can be needed.
