Called Dell. Got it all settled. They have sent me a quote. Your code was good. I will decide between the Inspiron or a Vostro system for 449.00 including a 19" monitor.

Now that Dell is in BB, local tax applies. Oh, well ...no tax was good while it lasted.

Good, I just got the offer in the mail yesterday so they ought to still offer it 🙂

Maybe for the code to work automatically you have to go to this link from the catalog: www.dell.com/gifts3 ? The catalog isn't very clear about it.
 
Once you speak with a Dell agent, they will send a confirmation of the deal via e-mail - thereby locking it in.
I will going for the Vostro deal, pretty sure. 449.00 with the 19" WS is a bit too good to pass up.
