SFF - Dual Display?

I think some of the nForce2 SFFs that use the IGP (onboard video) have two VGA connectors. Just realize that a GeForce4 MX (not much better than a GF2 MX) is powering that display.

Depending on your needs, it may be worth it to just get a dual-display video card and put it in any accomodating SFF.

yea, pretty much any SFF PC that has an AGP slot will be able to do dual display, whether it be dual analog or dual DVI with the right video card.

So you can put in any agp video card in any sff case? I have a gf ti4400 with dual display. I can just drop that in?

since i am buying new. Would you reccommend a new video card better or equal to what i have on a smaller form factor.

The only cards that would be a big step up from a Ti4400 would be a RADEON 9700Pro/9800/9800Pro (not the 9800SE!), or a GeForceFX 5900/5900Ultra. In either case, if you're thinking about upgraiding, wait a few weeks for more news on ATI and NVIDIA's new graphics cards first. Makes no sense to buy now when new releases might drive the prices down in less than a month.

yeah, Im not doing heavy gaming much anymore.. (no more time) I think my card will fit the bill perfectly.

hmm now to determine p4 or amd 64..

decisions decisions.

AMD64 for everything except encoding and then not by much. The 2Ghz A64 is as fast as the 3.2Ghz P4 for everything else.

Just about any SFF these days... some DO NOT have AGP slots, so research wisely.

And as one person mentioned.... the room between the AGP slot and the case wall is limited.... so choose your card wisely.

For one, if you get shuttle SFF's, it'll fit full size video cards. Don't know about the other ones.
Performance between Athlon 64 and P4C 3.0 is similiar, it wouldn't blow the other one away.
