SFF and a 9800 Pro?

It might. I'd worry more about the heat issues you will get with the shuttle. you'd have to ask someone who has a shuttle xpc. all i know is that the sff's that are better for heat are the aopens and the antec aria.

I'd go with the SN45 over that one. IMO, use a low power/low heat cpu like a mobile barton. Yes, they have enough power for a 9800 Pro.

EDIT: Of course that SN41 looks way better then the 45...

why? I don't see much of a difference?

I was planning on pairing this up with an Athlon XP 2700+ Thoroughbred (333 FSB). The box isn't for me, and I have little experience with SFF. Originally, I planned in building it with an Asus A7N8X Dlx and a Antec ATX case (price difference is negligable), but I was curious about how a SFF would do with the 9800 Pro. If there is really any doubt about heat in the SFF case with that CPU and the 9800 Pro, than I will opt for the ATX case. Also, it will require a PCI modem since the user only has dial-up, and I think the Shuttle only has one PCI slot right next to the AGP, which I don't care for.

With a 250watt powersupply, it should work fine.

I use an SB75G2 with a 9800 pro, and no problems. Sure SFF do get warmer because of the lack of space in such a small system, but nothing to worry about if you aren't raising voltages, (ie: cpu/ram/board overclocks).
