I said they were cute names, not sexy names. And my neice is named one of those. :|

I find that names and the x-factor of the names go in generations. In older generations some names considered "sexy" and "cool" are considered old fashioned now.

I think Kirsten is a really cool name because it is cool to pronounce, and Kirsten Dunst is really purty. 😉 There are plenty of neat and fun names that somewhat dictate the how society perceives them and minorly affects their personality because of it. A unique name like Kirsten might make a girl stand out in her peers and make her more of an extrovert. But of course it comes down to ingrained personality and genetics really.
 
Adrienne is a really cool name, too. I know a girl who is pretty and smart with the name of Adrienne... meh lotta purty girls out there.
