Sex versus Violence?

I vote for violent sex.

I voted pie for both, though in all honesty I would rather it be sex for myself, and pie for the children.

As far as violence vs sex, its about realism. Violence on TV is simulated, where as full blown sex, aka porn is not simulated. They may be faking the results, and adding in additional sound effects, cutting the awkward scenes of getting in place/position, but its still real sex. Furthermore if you like watching sex, you normally are getting some sort of turn on out of it. Violence normally doesn't turn people on, again it is simulated and not real, and if you watch it with your gf/wife/bf etc you are not going to go reenact it, because you know it is bad, and can cause real pain.

Obviously, there are those that do get off on violence, and those that commit violence. But I believe it is considered a safe bet, because even though the TV violence can mirror real life violence, it is simulated, and never comes close to the emotional level of pain and misery real violence causes. Sex on TV, or porn for that matter often surpasses reality and can lead people to believe they are being cheated with the real deal.
