Sex versus Violence?

might as well show sex.
at least they know what to expect in the future.

Violence is something that they should have the least idea..
 
I am going to have to say violence is better the straight up sex. This really shouldn't be but thinking about it from my own personal experience I feel more comfortable watching violence on the tv with my parents then I do watching a full blown image of sex.

I had a strange dream last night that they were showing full blown sex acts on regular TV but it was ok because the males were using dildos instead of their own penises. 😕
 
I'm not really sure why, but I remember when I was young if I wanted to see a rated R movie, it had to be because of violence, not sex. My parents didn't care about violence. Kind of odd when I think about it.
 
For the second question in the poll, why is sex winning and not Pie? I'd much rather have my kids watch pie.

I would say a large part of that is due to the culture you've grown up in though. American society is far far far more comfortable with violent imagery than we are with naked people.

True, i agree and thats why i said it really shouldn't be that way. I know a lot of people who would be fine watching that kind of stuff with their parents. My mom and dad are not really conservative or anything, we just don't talk about that kind of stuff.
