We have several Dell PCs, same model, purchased at the same time, running XP Pro, OEM Dell installed. All but one of these PCs pass MS Genuine Windows validation without a problem. One of them will not.
I can't figure this out, and it is starting to p*ss me off. I know the tricks to workaround a non validated PC, but since the PC is SUPPOSED to validate legitimately, I shouldn't have to. (Besides, those tricks are sure to stop working soon...)
Has anyone else seen something like this? Someone said there is a standalong validation tool that has worked for people where the automated validation isn't working. I am assuming this is not just the GenuineCheck.exe program (which only generates a short-use code and doesn't validate your installation for the long term...)
Any help?!!!
