You enable wep in your router. Put it on 128bit, put in a passphase/long ass combination of A through F and 0 through 9 and the only way anyone can use wireless is by having that passphrase/key.

Ok, ummm...well. Did you try *bumping* the thread a few times, perhaps after a day or so? You will DEFINITELY get better responses there. Plus, a lot of the Networking Guru's might not neccesarily read this forum.

Just a thought.

LMAO @ This thread

RaiseUp: Really, reading your manual is going to be your best shot. Since every AP's WEP setup is a little bit different your best off starting there then asking more specific questions on the board if they pop up.

If you posted the question in the networking forum and no one answered there's usually a reason. Either

A.) no one was able to answer your question
B.) no one feels like spoon-feeding you information that should have came with your hardware

Either try to re-phrase the question and be more specific or try to pickup your manual and read-away. Don't be afraid, knowledge doesn't hurt.

So learn to bump your thread, just like we are kindly bumping your thread here. Though our reasoning for bumping is much different than yours, I'm sure.
