I've researched the hell out of this one on 'Google' and found many,many different views.

Can I hear from you guys, 'da pros on this?

After sticking in a stick of 256 and 128mb of ram, should I just leave it, or change some settings to accomodate the added ram?

256+128 = 384 not 328...

But either way you shouldn't have to adjust anything, it's over 512MB that you start to get problems.

DING DING DING! That is correct. However if you plan on using Windows XP or Windows2000, you don't ever have to worry about any of that. I believe WindowsMe does not require the Vcache setting altered until 768. Though I am only 99% sure on that one. But as Nori said, the problem for Win9X is when you have MORE than 512, so even 512 is fine.
