Setting Up Wireless Internet

I was trying to set up wireless on my laptop which is a Dell Inspiron 600m and all of a sudden I get this screen saying:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

Blah blah blah.

Any ideas on how I could resolve this problem?

Try a recovery console by booting to the XP/2k cd and doing a SFC /scannow. This will check your os files and compare them to the ones on the cd. It is also worth it to do a scan disc as well. But this is likely and indicator of a bad hard drive.
