Setting Up SATA RAID

I am getting a new computer:

Athlon 64 3400 w/ 1mb cache
ASUS K8V SE Deluxe (754, kt800)
2x 160gb maxtor sata drives
win xp prof

and I want to setup a SATA RAID 1 array.
Since this is my first time with raid, I was wondering what steps are necessary in order the have the raid 1 setup with the hardware onboard sata raid chip. Thanks.
 
The SATA controller bios will have a wizard to help you set this up.

Refer to your motherboards manual for the proper instructions.
