Setting up RAID5...

Hi All
I'd like to set up RAID 5 with my 3-320GB drives. I tried this once when I bought the third drive, but ran into a problem. I'd set up the RAID in the BIOS and start to install XP. When I finished XP and started to install Vista (I have dual boot, XP and Vista Ultimate 32bit), it'd run through the initial install, then reboot. When it rebooted and started to boot into Vista, I got a BSOD. I'd reboot and try to go to XP, no problem. Reboot and go into Vista, BSOD...I just got frustrated and finally installed dual boot OSs with no RAID5. Well, I'd like to actually do it, and I would like to know if there's a problem with setting up RAID5 and dual boot OSs?

Any help would be highly appreciated. If there's any more information needed, please let me know.

Thanks

If you're using onboard RAID you've almost certainly got software fakeRAID so your issue is probably crappy drivers. And the amount of trouble dual-booting in that case will depend on the driver support in the other OS since the RAID is all done in the driver.
