Ok so i'll be getting my dell i9300 in soon enough. I wanted to get a wireless network all setup and ready for it now. I have a desktop and soon to get that notebook.
I wanted to run wireless G but 54 or 108. I mean would i really notice a diffrence?
What is really needed Just a wireless enable router? I've heard that computers with built in wireless dont perform as good as the pcmia cards. Should i get a set then?
Should i just stay with the high end brands like linksys and netgear? I really like how netgear's routers look like. as a pose to linksts or d-link.
How hard is it to get a network up and running. for the computer it shouild just be plug and play but for the lappy i need to detect the right one. should i set up a password right off the bat as well.
