Setting up a Three PC home network, well at least I'm trying to

I realize that answering network questions is often difficult, cause one check-box, option, or cable can determine the overall worky/no-worky of the network, so i'll do the best I can. I have three computers, one connected to a cable modem. The other two all have nics, and are connected to my netgear 8-port switcher. So far I've done a pretty good job using AnalogX's proxy to make them all share my modem, but I'm having problems mapping all the drives to each other so I can mainly just use my main rig to access all the files. They all have the ip range of 192.168.0.*, and they all can ping each other. Two of them successfully can map each others drives (one is on 95 and the other on 2k), but my newer 2k system will not find the others. They are all on the same workgroup, yet they never find each other.... I'm stumped. Again, if anyone can throw me a shot in the dark, I'd be grateful.

It is usually a sharing issue.

Look at the following Link, it is mainly for Win98, but it has inside a link for Win2K.

Well, Jack thanks a bunch. I'm sure your faq and link to that other one certainly helped my network out, but I guess it still faces another problem. These two computers have the exact same nic (a CompUsa one with no updated drivers), and are on a 8-port Neatgear switcher. Again, they can ping each other, yet not recognize each other on the same exact workgroup. Any other advise?
