Setting up a new PC

So I'm setting up a new PC for my sister. She's a fairly good user; knows enough to not install random crap from websites and not blindly hit OK on UAC popups.

Right now, I have her set up on a non-admin account, MSEE, windows update set to auto dl and install weekly.
I'm trying to get her to use Chrome, but she is adamant about sticking with IE; so I have IE9 installed.

Is there anything else I need to or should do to keep her more secure? I'm not too worried about her falling for the standard phising or malware attack, but I am concern about her getting stuff that'll auto install and execute; especially with IE.

Looks like you have most stuff covered already. I'm assuming there's a router firewall also?

Let's see, I would also install malwarebytes.

Also, install secunia PSI so you can scan for other potentially outdated programs on there in the future.

Is this connected the a home network? Wired or Wireless? If wireless, WPA2 setup.

Thanks for the suggestions. Does malwarebytes play nicely with MSEE? I vaguely remember having issues with it and AVG a while back, but haven't used it with MSEE before.

and yes, she is connected to a router with firewall via WiFi with WPA2 security

I'm mainly concern with the IE9 setup. I usually work with FF or Chrome, so I don't have a good feel for how IE handles extensions, plugins, etc.

Maybe we are missing the point. Its all well and fine to take a total virgin PC and then install some OS on it. So far and so good, but don't rush to take it on the road to the internet, best have a pretty robust pre installed security defense up and running before you try that stunt.
