Setting up a Dual Monitor setup tutorial? Help a noob out at this :)

OK, just figure I'd ask. I got a GeForce 4 card (from the 79.99 deal) that supports dual monitors now. Ordered a dvi to vga adaptor.

Now is it as simple as just plugging in both monitors? how do I get it so I have two different screens or stretch the desktop across two monitors? If it is stretched, when i play games, will those also be stretched or just on the one screen.

If someone could just give me a quick tutorial on configuring a dual monitor setup, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

just plug in both monitors its as simple as that.

you may have to enable the second monitor by right clicking on the desktop and go to properties->settings and double click on the greyed out monitor.

its all pretty easy from there.

software makes it more useful. i'm suing ati's hydravision and stuff so i dunno what features nview has

I just set mine up with a Radeon 9000 Pro... it's as simple as plugging the 2 monitors in... no additional software required...
