Setting my memory correctly

I have and asus a7n8x deluxe board with rev2.0 when I boot up it says memory is at 200mhz frequency in single channel mode. Is this correct, am I not suppose to have 400mhz in dual channel mode? My memory is kensington pc 3200 1 gig of it. I think I have to mess around in the bios to set this correctly, but before I do I want to know if I am wrong or right. I am aware that the rev 2.0 on my motherboard is suppose to support 400 is it not? Thanks for any suggestions.

go into the bios in advance chipset i believe. what type of cpu do you have? if you have a 266fsb one, set the bus to 133, if you have a 333fsb one, set it to 166, 400, set it to 200. it'll tell you what speed your memory is in there too.

is your pc reading your xp2500 at its correct name and speed? i just bought an a7n8x-x and i had to change mine from 100 to 166 for it to see my xp2800 right.
