I'm trying to get win2k to change permissons on the folders on the nt4 server. My account has admin.
I have a drive mapped off the NT4 server. In Win2k, I want to be able to change the security settings. I can view the settings, however when I try to ADD, it tells me I need to log in again with an account that has access to that server. Though I am already logged on. It does let me REMOVE user permissions.. but I can't ADD them.
I was able to make change before. Unfortunately I'm unaware of what changes I might have made to the server that now prevents me from doing it again.. Is it because I dont' have access to the objects on the server?
How do I change it? What to I need to have access to?
