I don't have any advance settings in XP Pro. What gives? I installed XP Pro for the first time, ran the Intel Chipset Utility to update my chipset drivers, and I also installed the Intel Accelerator Application (IAA). I also want to check to see if DMA is enabled on my XP setup, but the above steps don't work because there is no advance settings area in device manager under my ide channels. Please help.

The IAA automatically enable DMA, and removes the Advanced Settings Tab from the IDE Channel Properties.

To check the status, use the IAA Applet in the Start Menu.

Ahhh.....

I will try this later on tonight when I get home from work. Thanks Andy.
