Anyone not able to get to our SetiStats page? Getting a "Page cannot be displayed" message. Just me, or did something happen to our hosting box? 🙂

Maybe Wiz will see this. I think he might be hosting it. But, in the meantime, and beyound, Soni's site will do you well!

It appears that Wiz's server is currently down. I know he is working on a "big" project so he may not be aware of the situation but I did send him a message. 😉

On a side note, while visiting Seattle I took a 360 degree panorama with overlapping pictures from the Space Needle. Wiz pointed out to me that the hill with the three large antennas was where our server is located (right at the base of one of the antennas). I'm sure if Mount Ranier burped we'd all know about it. 😛 😀

Sweet! 🙂

BTW, thanks for the other links to keep track of how things are going. Always nice to make sure my farm is still going, since it can be hard to check up on 25 boxes 🙂

I've been looking through my logs and still can't quite figure out what happened.
I see a couple services didn't start when they were supposed to (hung) then it looks like one of my "helpers" tried doing a system restart remotely which didn't take, then he tried a few other things that ended up locking the machine out to where it needed a cold reboot to recover.
You know, no matter how prepared you are for this kind of stuff, as soon as you leave town for a little R&R something like this will happen and all your carefully laid plans seem to fold and fall to the ground.
Oh well, I just hope I don't lose any customers over this. :Q

A couple of weeks ago my wife flew to Shreveport with me for a weeklong visit. While she was away from home 6 of my boxes went down. Then two weeks later when I went home for a long weekend, all the stuff in Shreveport went down about the time the plane left the ground. Everything was on a UPS. It has to be a conspiracy betweenl Murphy and the power company!

It didn't loose me any customers, but a bunch of WU since most were Athlon XPs!

Ouch, I guess between worms & virii & idiocy the data center is part to blame for the lack of connections -
but mainly on Wednesday the dang thing just hung there & spun cycles all day, partially due to ineptitude on the part of one of my helpers who went in & stomped around like the proverbial bull in a china closet.
Oh well... good help is so hard to get for free these days!

Ain't that the truth.
