SetiSpy Problem: Can't update user stats

Hey guys,

For quite some time I've been using SetiDriver to hide/manage the Windows CLI and SetiSpy to monitor things. Never had a problem with it until a few days ago when I couldn't update my stats under the User Stats section. The button is "blanked" out in typical Windows fashion when it doesn't allow that button to be selected.

I've tried redownloading SetiSpy and pasting it over the one in the Seti directory, but same thing. Running it outside my Seti directory makes the button be selectable, but of course it doesn't do anything since it can't monitor the state.sah file.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

I just hate having to dump a WU or two just to check to see how my other ships are doing. 🙁

Mine is the same, it automatically updates every time it uploads a WU though so I never bother with it.

I think it's to do with your E mail add being removed from one of the .sah files ,SETI removed them when their database got hacked recently ,theirs more info about it at SETI's & SETISpys site

Yep, at the SetiSpy site, it says to download the latest version, then it gives a quick modification you must do to the setispy.ini file.

It works fine on my machines now.

Make sure you go to the FAQ and add the new line to your ini.
Seti changed what was contained in their files which is impacting a lot of programs.
