Setiqueue Question

Hello all. It appears that for some reason I have a couple of duplicates in my queue. How the heck do I delete them? My queue keeps showing this (4) in the results area and when I see the reuslts webpage these 4 are highlighted. I can't see where to go to delete these. Any idea's? Thanks.

Check the duplicate results to see if one of your machine isn't going crazy.
Could be an overclocked machine acting foolish and repeating WUs...

OK, got it fixed. I am using the Setihide service for WinXP. Turns out that SetiHide freaked out and duplicated a few WU's and kept submitting them. Well the problem is fixed!

Hello all. I have another issue. Setiqueue keeps crashing. I had this problem yesterday and so I rebooted. Well this morning it was dead again. Any idea's?

Crashing as in Windows BSOD? or just the App is crashing? Any error messages?

Do you have a big enough harddrive?(I once had a problem like that😉)

No BSOD, just the program. I have plenty of HD space. What is going on is that I will try to access the html view from any computer to see how many WU's are ready to go and my browser will hang, so I go to the computer that the queue is on and the queue just wont do anything. I have to kill it and restart it.

I can't help but be reminded of a recent Nimda/Code Red virus infection that hit the servers in my fleet that had IIS services running. I was getting duplicate WUs and web site of the Seti Queue was acting erratic. Took me 3 days to get all of my servers clean (have to love that online service McAfee offers!)
