SetiQ question

Is there a way I can change the setting for just one client/queue? Like as in the min/man queue depth? I have a new user who only uploads through my queue(a few thousand per day) but doesn't download from my queue. As of now it seems that my 14 day max depth will serve the purpose of filling my queue with thousands of WUs that will never be downloaded. Is there a fix for situations like this? Can I disable them? or will that not allow WUs to be uploaded through them? Any help would be appreciated.

Oh yeah sorry about that😱

Like I said - don't worry about it - I would have said something before saying yes if I couldn't handle the influx. I'm just trying not to "waste" WUs. This still is for science and all😉

Pretty sure that answer is yes. I have not tested it but will right now. have a machine or 2 ready to upload 🙂

Disable does work. It will continue to dispatch wu's to the client until its empty. Set the queue to 0 and your good to go. Inbound WU's will still be credited while not sending a new WU to the client.

Cool, thanks. I haven't had to use any other settings than the norm.
