SetiDriver connection error on install?

Tried to assimilate the in-laws computer tonight and encountered some problems. They are running Win95 plus and AOL (I can't get them away from AOL!!). I had to install some missing dll files- ws2_32.dll and ws2help.dll. No problems there. When I fire off SetiDriver for the first time and setup existing account and hit enter, it gives me something to this effect in the DOS box- cannot find socket network. It sends me back to enter 1 or 2 for account and starts over. I'm guessing it has something to do with AOL or the fact it is running on Win95. Any ideas??
