I know they had a router go down the other day, but looking at their front page it should all be OK now.

I've got a load of WUs still in stock but it's unable crunch them, have they been corrupted?
Am I the only one having problems?
This is part of my log:-

(I hope the format sticks)
[edit]
Well looking back over the logs it seems the servers are down again, but that still doesn't explain why I can't use the WUs I've got.........
[edit2]
As I was about to say before the forum crash, I see the log is right about the WUs, they are empty!, 0KB, I thought only fully d/led WUs were supposed to be listed in the 'tasks' tab??

I'm having problems too. Request new work and I get some but, sets in my download queue with a an unable to connect line. Had to go to advanced options then proxy and use the server address 208.68.240.18 port 80 and all downloaded. bUT, WHEN i WANTED TO UPLOAD...HAD TO TURN THE PROXY OFF....Figured things would be normal now but it's not the case.

I'm still getting the same problem, surely their be more than us 2 that have this problem??
I'm going to trying aborting the empty WUs & see what happens.

SETI@home has 2 download-servers, but it seems only 1 of them has been working correctly the last couple days.

In theory you'll have a 50/50 chance to be assigned to either of these servers, and you'll take your chance again after 5 minutes, so the chance of constantly getting assigned the "bad" server should be negligibly small.

In practice on the other hand, not everyone follows the rules, and the result of this is you risk being stuck with the same server for a long time...

Re-booting computer is one method to take your chance again, and you've got a 50/50-chance of being assigned the "good" server instead...

Now, if your current problem is the "wrong" download-server, aborting the current tasks won't help, since any newly-assigned tasks will also try getting the files from the "wrong" download-server...

Cheers mate, seemed to be ok this morning anyway, I did a temp switch back to DPAD for now. Will switch back to SETI in a few days or so.

How come you quit SETI? What are you running now?

I started running Aqua@home on my cpus, and Milkyway@home, Collatz conjecture, and gpugrid on my gpus... i guess you could say that i'm padding my boinc stats :ninja:

oh... and i just lost another computer last night... cat puked in it.. it was an OC'd q6600 just crunching on the cpu.... so i pulled the psu out of it to get my (i7 860-gtx 280) liquid cooled setup up and running.. been sitting on parts for a few weeks :(

Lol, how the hell did the cat puke inside case? o_O

Ah cool, A@H & M@H both look interesting :), but totally don't understand Collatz conjecture project, but then I don't usually understand math ones ;).
So did you just fancy a change then?

I did fancy a change... and i had all these ATI cards that weren't really getting a good workout... hopefully someone will write an app for seti to use ATI cards.. then i'll be back full force

Lol, bad puss!

Fair enough, I'm sure your do well in those projects :)
If I've read it right, it seems A@H has just come fully online, hopefully that goes well.

Ah ok :)
