I'm building a new system for a friend of mine. She will be connected by dial-up only. I won't have access to the system too often so I'm wondering what the best tool would be to cache work-units and send them in automatically when there is a connection. I.e. I don't want it to connect when it needs another WU - it should only transmit when the connection already happens to be in place....

I don't think SETIQ or SETIDriver can automatically detect a connection (I could be wrong though).
I know with SETIQ you can set when it connects though.

I have a few systems set up with dial-up on SETI. Use SETI driver give them a 3 to 4 day cache, and show them how to transmit. They only have to push one button. I give a great discount for running SETI on their machines for me:)

Yah, I'm sure I could get them to flush their WU's every few days.

Thanks for the info.
