Seti will never end?

I just returned to DC after about 8 months of hiatus. SETI 1 is still alive and kicking, from what I see.
That puts it about a year and a half over what was the expected end.
Are they just repopulating data, or is everyone hesitent to move to BOINC for some reason that I haven't seen? I have already moved over to BOINC.

Thoughts are appreciated.

Check out Rattledaggers post that new account creation for SETI Classic has been disabled today.

Well that's a pretty big step.

Not saying that it's nessicarily a bad thing that it's lasted this long. The TeAm has done some amazing work on it, and I defineatly don't want to devalue that, it was just starting to seem like an infinite thing.
