Reply to this message.
New features in this version:
- Initial Windows GUI interface
- Credit handling and result verification
- Improved testing platform
- Application signal handling
- Back end work generation program
- Windows and Mac OpenGL graphics support (X11 coming soon)
- Various security and bug fixes

As always, it is available at http://sf.net/projects/boinc/. This is still an alpha release, so it will probably only interest developers. Please let us know of any bugs you find or if you're interested in helping develop BOINC. We will let people know when we start a public beta test. Thank you,

-Eric

As always, 100% SETI at the moment, but i was thinking of helping out the deception.net team with the new ECC2. But that may depend on if i get back the 2.0ghz Xeon i lost about a month ago.
Time will tell.

Im'm running full tilt with 3xTbird 1.4 and 1 PII-233 🙂
Production was off for a bit due to a dead PSU, but the new one is in and cranking out WU's 🙂

I've got the pedal to the medal big daddy! breaker! breaker! E.T. what's your 10-20? 😛 😀

BTW: Every Server and workstation under my control is running SETI. I can only expect the same from the rest of you. 😉

With the return of GreatWhiteNorth we are once again in position to catch the Forum Hardware.FR Team!

CRUNCH! CRUNCH! CRUNCH!

ehehehehhehehehe you said "Up yours!" hehehe 😛

Probably already been asked some other time, but when is SETI-1 actually officially winding down??
Are they gonna go until they exhaust a set amount of WU's, or up to a set date when v.2 is ready to roll out?

I suspect it will be when the BOINC client is ready and well tested.

No slacking off here. I've got a 2200+, a 2100+, and a 1.2 T-Bird putting out about 18 wu's a day. I won't stop until SETI stops accepting wu's. 🙂

Edit: We, TA, did lose a pc last week. My mother, Feather, has a problem with her pc. I won't be able to get to it until Thanksgiving because she's 250 miles away. But she will be back! If you'd like to help solve her problem, check out this thread in TS. 🙂

If I can't fix it, then I'll have to nuke it and start from scratch. 🙁
