I just got the following message via e-mail, interesting isn't it?

<< Hello. How are you today? My name is Stephen. I run a SETI @home group that is open up to the world. And I have envied you to join. If you are interested, go to http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/stats/team/team_129656.html and sign up.Lets find out if we are alone in the univerce together. Also, I would like your feed back on this. Also note that the name of this group is just a name, nothing more. Also, if you already are a member of another group, do not join, and do not join if you are just going to quit the next day. >>

<< Thanking you in advance >>

<< Stephen Kennedy >>

<< PS, if you are running a version of SETI @home that is older than 3.03, please upgrade it. 3.03 looks for more stuff in a work unit, and its just better. >>

Anyone else receive it?

I'd appreciate any input, thanks for your time.

This has happened from time to time. Looks like somebody's enthusiasm has overshadowed their common sense.

Thank you for the input fellow members, perhaps zeruty is right and I should forward it over to someone at Seti.

Did you just hit a SETI milestone? If so, your name pops up on the milestone charts. Some teams watch the charts and track down the milestone makers and then ask them to join their teams. Others in the DSLR forum have mentioned receiving emails from certain teams. All seem to appear after the accomplishment of a milestone.
