Powering low off the final turn with turbo chargers screaming, serialb takes the checkered flag in the SETI 500 in front of Pyxis with over thirty wu's to spare. It was an impressive showing by the man from Minnesota in his very first race on SRL tracks. Congratulations, serialb. Contratulations to Pyxis and Renob as well.
Welcome back three adversaries for another slug-fest in space as The Federation, the Cardassians, and the enigmatic TWTA battle it out in a race for Galactic Dominance. Admiral Engineer, coming off a stunning victory at Sector 1500, would appear to have the early advantage over Gul Dukat who now has revenge in mind. But TWTA appears poised to stir up some dark matter as the engine assembles his armada for what promises to be an interesting battle in the outer reaches of the Alpha quadrant.
Assimilator1 dumps in double-digits but looses ground to the Hare who still manages a twenty wu day despite the generally low numbers being produced by most everyone. In the Race to Sector 8500, the USS Baz appears to be having some serious problems navigating through the asteroid fields in the Antillas system as Captain blcjr manages to cover only 47 parsecs since yesterday, a distance his ship normally covers in about eight hours.
In the Race to 2000, the Electric Man discharges his battery and turns in a monster day, throwing 35 workunits Berkeley's way. The powerful purge pulls Electrode onto the same lap as Baldy18 and the leader Toft,who produces in double figures, extending his lead to 14 over the second place racer. It may be only a matter of days though until the Great Dane has to turn over the lead position to the Bald One. Another Race to 1500 sees Jumpin' Jwyatt climb to within 20 wu's of victory and Dark Majiq begins today's schedule only twelve wu's from taking the checkered flag in the Team Anandtech SETI 1000.
Obviously a little ticked by Super Sukhoi's utilization of what some wrasslers consider an illegal maneuver, Rowdy Ray pops up off the canvas after being squashed by a flying Butt Smash and delivers a left, then a right, then another left to Super Sukhoi's chin followed by a belly to belly counter clockwise cranial cracker to thwart Super Sukhoi's attempt to finish the match with a Duplex Suplex. Meanwhile, Rowdy Ray's cornermen try franticly to free up the stuck wheel on Ray's wheelie cane. Wow, is this getting exciting!
In Another Race to 1000, Dingas appears to be back out of the pits after experiencing some mechanical problems yesterday and ConfusedBW produces very well for a second day in a row as both racers gain ground on LadyStarDust. Wilder produces 21 on a day that sees the other two racers struggle in the Wild and Heavy Race to 1000 and Eltano1 brings a little bad news down on thecool1's head, stretching his lead to 29 in the YART 1000.
