One day after his compadres, Wayne's World takes the checkered flag in The Star-Studded Stellar Cluster Crunch to 2500, earning the right to plaster his face on the SRL Wall of Fame for a little while longer. It was a valiant effort by Anything But Plain Wayne to hold off the charges of his race mates but the hottub babes were just made to wait a little longer for the pleasure of his company. Picking up the key to Victory Lane Lounge, WayneS glances towards the cheering crowd and with a doff of his racing cap and a wave, tosses a spent wu cartridge into the stands which set's off a near riot amongst the fans as they fight for the right to own a little piece of SRL history. "Dave! Dave! Dave!"... The chant rises and gains intensity at trackside at the Race to 750 as Dazzlin' Dave McOwen continues to cruise with the lead. Cresting the 100 wu mark this morning following a purge of 14 workunits, Dave glances in the rear view mirror to see a frightening sight. SerialB has pulled to within three wu's and is making a case to take the lead. Better keep the pedal to the metal, Dave! The middle of the pack in the Plain Old Race to Crunch 1500 is rapidly closing ranks after a day that saw all three win a smilie for their efforts. At the front of the pack, thawolfman is still suffering some severe mechanical problems and remains stalled out on the track. Neovan and [/b]ReaganCRW[/b] both win smilies for their production runs in Neovan's Scary Halloween Run to 4500 and ledzepp98 extends his lead to 63 over the British Bulldog Tag Team Tandem as they race hell bent for glory in Another race to 6000.
The Race to 8000 sees some action brewing in the middle of he pack between the Mucster and the Aquatic White Bird. Seemingly comfortable with his number two placement, mucman may have become a little complacent until hearing the honking and furious flapping getting closer to the rear. With only 18 wu's separating Mucman and Swanny, it's time for Muc to load up the wu gun and keep firing. Team Toft / Vold lay some wu smack on the track in Team Toft/Vold's Bold Challenge - 10K by 10/27/2002 this morning with a power purge tipping the scales at 87, keeping them well on shcedule for their arrival at the Holy Grail by their Seti anniversary. And Wirelessenabled appears to be intent on catching a few of his racemates in The Great 10K CountDown, as road crews have been dispatched to clean up the mess left on the track following is 82 wu dump.
