Let's go straight to the SETI 1000 track and check in with our Actiontech racers this morning. The IceCream Man, desperately trying to hold off the charge of the second place Jwyatt, sees his lead decrease by one. NaughtyusMaximus, who made a valiant attempt at re-taking second place yesterday, falls back a bit while ledzepp98 begins to make his move on the leaders. Did ledzepp wait just a little bit too long? The next few days will tell as the tension and excitement continue to mount.
Racers Wanted! A day after catching the elusive def, IsOs joins zodder in the Lonely Racers bracket. This is where brave SRL veterans go to wait for the timid and shy members of TA to emerge from the shadows and join them in a friendly competition of Seti skill and assimilation techniques. Come on, people! Join the fun!
The Clash of the Titans is nearing a climax as soni begins the day only a dozen wu's behind the Office Guy after churning out 70 big ones. A brave and consistent race run by the Office Titan looks like it will come up just a bit short. The amazing burst of speed from soni days earlier pretty much wrapped up a win for the Seti Titan from Copenhagen.
Yield and Smokeball begin what could be a back and forth barn burner as the two vie for the right to take the checkered flag in a brand new event in the Seti Racing League. The Race to 4000 pits a hardened SRL veteran already with two racing crowns on the mantle against a SETI veteran, but a newcomer to the SRL. The Seti racing world anxiously awaits the battle forthcoming.
The action is also hot and heavy in the Race to 1500 as Electrode appears to have his ride once again purring like a kitten. Accelerating to within 100 wu's of the Great Dane, he's beginning to put just a little more distance between himself and our third place racer Baldy18 who's production is just a bit off after making a strong challenge the last several days. Give that bro of yours a boot in the rear if he turns Seti off again, Baldy! 😉
And it's a vulture, not a turkey!
Advancements among racers on 8/21 include Smokeball up 1 to 73, ledzepp98 up 1 to 179, thecool1 up 6 to 357, Slahr Dzhe up 9 to 373, and Gul Dukat moves up 31 to 455.
