---------------------------------------------
Milestones achieved on 7/16:

Robor - 38000 (38117)
Jwyatt - 500 (500) :)
pgrommesh - 250 (250)
---------------------------------------------

All eyes in the Seti race world are focused on the SETI 1000 where Ai3x is attempting to achieve what no other racer has done before. Unfortunately, it would appear that he has encountered a temporary setback. After a near record setting day two days ago, his production fell to 16 wu's yesterday. Those university people had better stop changing the email addresses on those clients!

Hooray!!! Ray's ride has fired up her engines once again! Doesn't look like he's got that Netfinity beast back up and rolling yet, though. Amazingly, spending several days in the pits with the crew frantically trying to restart the power plant didn't cause the Rayman to lose any ground in TeAm standings.

A word of advice to the Hare: you need to assimilate, my friend! If my calculations are correct, maintaining the average he has managed over the last seven days, the Tortoise appears poised to take the checkered flag in about eleven or twelve days. Ben needs to up his daily production in order to overtake his challenger. Time for a tune up and some engine modifications.

In the Race to Catch Def, the ever suprising def managed another huge burst yesterday to extend his lead over Max and his other persuers. He doesn't look like he's going to make this easy, Max!

Congratulations are in order as another one of our racers has reached a milestone. Our newest racer, Jwyatt, crossed the 500 wu marker early this morning. Congratulations, Jerry! That's only the first of many.

Once again, a lot of movement among our racers for the day. Advancements on 7/16 include def up one to 61, MaxSiren up one to 64, cakin up one to 88, Doomer up one to 142, Baldy18 up one to 169, IcecreamLtDan up one to 210, Swanny up one to 226, and Ai3x up another 5 positions to number 211, Spooky up one to 213, and Swanny scoots up one landing at 225 at day's end.

I dunno what's up with my output. I was doing 25-26 on the weekdays and then 30+ on the weekends, but that's kind of decreased a little. Guess it's time to check all my boxes to make sure they are up and running. :(

If we add Robor to Team Alien then all of todays Milestoner's would be S@H MTR Racers! ;)

Coincidence? ;)

Congrats Milestoner's!!! :D

(Also pgrommesh is aka Dingas).

Hint, hint... :)

BTW - If we added Robor to Team KAB they'd all be MTR'ers, too! :p ;)

Oh why don't you just kick us while we are down while you are at it! :p

I will remember this if we ever manage to dig ourselves out of this hole!!! :p

Ps. Does anyone have 500WU they could lend us? ;)

LOL!! :)

I'm not kicking anyone while they're down. (I have too much experience with "what goes around comes around" to be doing that. ) I was merely stating a fact that if Robor joined either team, all milestoners would be MTR'ers. ;)

Hmmm, I distinctly remember someone over there on Team Alien wanting to call us "Team Cheese Puffs" right after we got started. :D

Polo, that 603 is actually pretty good per MHz at OGR..you may want to change it over. :) Heck, it's good at RC5 too..take your pick.

How many MHz is it?

Anybody got any idea;s?
I though i was out of the race to 1k earlier today cos as i said 1 of my room got closed and i seamed to have done basically no wu's today.

But just now i checked my stats again and i had jumped up 100 units leaving me still very much in the running! I'm not complaining but all my computers will haev been switched off for hours so is it me or has the berkeley server been playing up?

Well anyways the good news is i may still be in the race :) :) :)

Who knows this is all confusing me i've had more ups and downs then nora batties stockings (anybody from the UK will get that joke)

sukhoi : Good for RC5 ??? I tried the AIX RC5 program on this machine... The result of the test was 1 block per day !!!!! she's heavily loaded and RC5 just sat down idle doing nothing. I don't want to change the priority of the program because it's a production machine. BTW, SETI seems to run smoothly with no problem at default priority... :p

Polo, I dunno. :) Looking at the TA DNet speed page, the PowerPC 603 is almost the same output for RC5 and OGR per MHz as an Athlon Classic.
