Who let the Dawg out! Woof! Woof! Woof! BigWoofer, panting, ears back, tongue hanging out of the corner of his mouth, gallops across the finish line in the The Very Very Loooonnnnggg Race to 10,000 just like a young pup after a rabbit, bringing to a close a race that when it was originally conceived would last at least through November of this year. That was back when the Dawgie was only digging up about 25 bones per day. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that this race would be over before the end of May! What an incredible job of assimilation and dedication shown by the Big Dawg. All it took was a little challenge from the Jumping Bean for the Big Dawg to really take off. The 10K lounge is all ready and waiting for your celebration, BigWoofer. The beer is chilling in the toilets, and there's a fire hydrant in every corner. We've also given the physics babes the day off and brought in Gigi's French Poodle Parade to help you celebrate the magnificent 10K milestone. Congratulations, BigWoofer!
Also earning some face time on The Wall this morning is Mighty Micron in the Race to Crunch 1000 with a Crazee Twist where a late and gallant charge by the EvaderMan was beaten back at the wire. Tipping the wu tally meter at 1004, Micron bests Evader by 12 to earn a few victory kudos and a little time in the race coordinator's lounge for a victory celebration. Now, I do believe you may be a bit young for the brewski's, but we've got plenty of Mt. Dew chillin' in the fridge and Oreo Cookies (the breakfast of champions) on the buffet tables. In the SRL, you're never too young to learn about quantum mechanics so the race babes are here and the Olympic size hot tub's primed and ready for a little victory dip. The wu's keep flowing up the pipe from down under! This morning the Pie Guy tips the scale at 679 wu's, earning himself a rarely awarded quad-shockie. The massive tally brings the Awesome Aussie's three day total to a phenomenal 1558 wu's and has completely obliterated his pre-race handicap! Now sitting on the plus side at 362, Pie has his sights set squarely on the Hackster's struggling fleet. An impressive 174 from the friendly Hawaiian captain of the USS IsOs lands him in the second position behind the Biloxi Bomber who has maintained his impressive 100+ pace throughout the race. The Great 10K CountDown shows crt1530 mounting a serious challenge to his old nemesis DroolMAN! who is slobbering his way towards quintuple digits only seven little wu's ahead of crt after the latter's monster 140 wu purge.
The experimental scout vessel USS Tortoise charges up the Trans-Turtle drive and vents a little Turtle-Plasma to surge forward 141 parsecs in Captain Polo vs Captain OD - Race to Outpost 13K. Captain OD appears to have the USS Ohio only one day at warp seven from Outpost 13K, but rumor has it that Captain Polo's TT drive has received a significant upgrade and new orders may be coming in soon from Starfleet to prepare for a rendezvous at another outpost. JW Middleton has crossed the 34k boundary and is within 1K of his goal of 35K by the end of the month. Spending more days above the 80 wu mark than below, JWM is on pace to make a serious run at his personal challenge. The Mucster smokes 17 to stretch his lead over Eltano1 in the Race to 6000, while Swanny lays waste to 33 to land an even 100 to the rear of the Miami Man.
