Strange stats, today. It looks as though some people are suffering from a recurring case of Berkeley Bandwidth Bursitis, while others remain unafflicted by the malicious malady emanating from the west coast of North America. 😕
Well, well, well! Take that, Mr. IJump! The Big Dawg, tail wagging furiously, has finally trumped the Jump by surpassing the century daily mark with a monster 126, outproducing one of TA-Seti's more prolific producers by a whopping 22. The gauntlet has been dropped. Now let's see if the Jumping Bean can rise to the challenge so ably issued by BigWoofer, the canine cruncher. Just be careful you don't step in any of those fragrant little doggie bombs that have been strategiclly planted in your path.
Lane42 turns in 44 busted up numerical packets to serve notice to a struggling Sheriff and the resting rogue racer in the Race to 10,000 that he's not going away quietly. Although the distance may be too great to make up in the short amount of time that appears to be left in this contest of crunching skill, lane has put forth his maximum effort and kept the pressure on the leaders to remain on their toes. The May Mauling to 3500 sees most participants struggling with the bandwidth bottleneck at Berkeley with the exception of the last place racer Nemur whose 25 leads all others in his bracket by a substantial amount. Now that Maggotry is back and appears to have his engines restarted, nemur's conquest of the fourth spot will be considerably more difficult. Meanwhile, bbarnes continues to lead the rowdy bunch by a considerable margin, his closest competition being Pyxis who throttles back to a single wu in the midst of the workunit traffic jam.
The Mid-Major Crunch to 2500 with a Handicapped NWM sees conjur find an open lane and push the pedal to the metal with 65 workunits to narrow his distance from a struggling defster to 29. Earning a shockie from the third position with a titan-like 105, Yield cruises in the third spot behind the streaking conjur at a distance of 31 clicks. The well choreographed routine being danced by Toft / Vold - DK and Fardy at the front of the Race to Crunch 1000 with a Crazee Twist appears to have reached a conclusion, with Fardringle staking claim to the lead position by four wu's after the Great Dane's team stalled out at zero. Mad Max rifles 26 spent packets out the barrel of his wu gun to close to within 23 of the struggling tuffguy and micron has lit the blow torch in order to melt a little ice cream as he finds himself only 5 behind IcecreamLtDan. Freewolf appears poised to bring a little bad news down on minendo's head, finding himself only a single solitary wu behind the leader in The M & M Boys & Some Others Race to Crunch 1000.
